The Ministry of Housing announced on Tuesday the completion of the booking of all residential units in the " Qatif residence " project in the Al-Qatif province, less than two weeks after the launch of the project.
The ministry said in a press statement that all the 942 units of the project Villa type "Town House" has been completed reservations, saying that it began the procedures for signing the final contracts with beneficiaries in preparation for starting the project with the accredited real estate developer.
The ministry pointed out that the high turnout witnessed by the project and the speed of completion of its reservations during a record period reflects the great confidence accorded by the Ministry's projects in partnership with the private sector, stressing that the implementation of the project will be supervised, and all guarantees provided to citizens who completed the booking procedures.
On July 10, the ministry announced the launch of the "Qatif residence" project in Qatif province in the Eastern Province, which is located on an area of about one million square meters. It will provide 942 housing units to be implemented in partnership with the private sector after the completion of bookings and hand out to beneficiaries within a period not exceeding three years from the date of signing the final contracts.
The Qatif residence project is characterized by the integration of infrastructure in the project of water and electricity, sanitation, stormwater systems. The project includes several sites for public utilities, parks, green area and children's playgrounds.
The project provides many residential options for the beneficiaries of housing subsidy through the implementation of a number of designs in the project to meet the aspirations of citizens. It includes 4 models and building designs with a total area of 300 square meters per unit, starting from 580 thousand riyals. The project is designed to design a suitable housing environment by providing all the essential services needed by residents of the residential complex.
In the same context, the Ministry of Housing affirmed its keenness to meet all the needs of the beneficiaries through the launch of more integrated residential projects services, facilities and infrastructure in various regions and cities of the Kingdom, pointing out that the coming period will witness the launch of other projects as is customary and monthly.
In early 2017, the Ministry of Housing announced the launch of the "sakani" program. During the first year, the Ministry of Housing allocated 282 thousand housing and finance products in all regions of the Kingdom and announced its target during the year 2018 to allocate 300 thousand housing and finance products, Mid of each month.
