The Ministry of Housing in Najran completed the delivery of more than 1000 plots of land in Najran, which is the highest rate of delivery in one residential plan during the year. The plan is characterized by its location near the urban area, the plan is one of the most prominent schemes in the Najran region, providing 7,134 free residential plots.
The program clarified that this step is an extension of the previous handover to the citizens benefiting from housing subsidy in various regions of the Kingdom, stressing that the delivery procedures continue in the Ministry of Housing branches after beneficiaries complete the booking procedures and choose the appropriate plan for them.
He pointed out that the land free of charge that is handed over to the beneficiaries is one of the housing options offered by the program. It also offers opportunities to own a villa within the ministry's projects or buy a housing unit under construction in partnership with the private sector or obtain a mortgage backed by 100% profits to build their homes for those who own land.
At the same time, the Ministry of Housing continues to provide free residential land in all areas of the Kingdom. The program announced in the beginning of (2019) for the allocation of 50 thousand plots of land free of charge, bringing the total land allocated to citizens since the start of the program to (207,296 land free of charge) distributed in all regions and benefited from various groups, according to the beneficiaries wishes entered in the housing subsidy portal.
The e-portal of the "Sakani" program has previously made it possible to choose the appropriate residential plan by the beneficiaries benefiting from the land free of charge option according to their wishes and needs, as part of the constant endeavor to develop electronic solutions to facilitate for the citizens and the provision of more electronic services to them.
The third stage of the "sakani 2019" program includes the allocation of 200 thousand residential and financing options, including 50 thousand housing units in partnership with the private sector and 50 thousand free residential land, in addition to 100 thousand subsidizes loans by a partnership between the REDF and banks and financial institutions.
