"Sakani" launches the "Construction Updates" page to show the percentage of completion in projects and plans. 

The "Sakani" website of the Ministry of Housing launched a new page on the website of the Ministry of Housing to follow up the "construction updates" in order to show the percentage of completion in projects that have recently begun. 46 projects within the residential projects launched by the program during the last period in partnership with real estate developers.

The program indicated in a press release today that its launch of the "Updates page" which comes in order to raise the level of productivity and to confirm it adhere to the schedule of delivery of projects on time and with high quality. Therefore, the program aims to raise the level of transparency between it and the beneficiaries as they are the true criterion for achieving its objectives. He stressed the need for developers to adhere to the time plans and technical specifications prescribed for each project to complete the implementation to the fullest extent in preparation for delivery to citizens, as part of the Ministry's efforts in achieving the objectives of the "Eskan" program "one of the Saudi vision2030 programs" to raise the percentage of homeownership to 60% by 2020, and to reach 70% by the year 2030.

The new update aims to keep the families that have been allocated within the various "Sakani" options to be fully aware of the workflow  in the plans and projects in easier way without the need to visit sites or communicate with developers to keep tabs, completion rates and delivery dates, This is part of the ministry's continuous efforts to develop electronic solutions that will help facilitate for eligible citizens and generating more electronic services for them. The site is divided into two options, the first relating to the 46 projects, the second concentrates into the plan which has 13 plans to be updated periodically and all details can be found through the program's website or link: https://sakani.housing.sa/projects-updated

The "Sakani" program clarified that the construction is currently underway in 46 residential projects and providing 97.836 housing units variety among (apartments - townhouse - villas), characterized by the quality of implementation and the affordable prices, although it will contribute to meet the high rate of demand for housing subsidy, noting that the implementation came after completing the booking procedures of these units, in accordance with the conditions and controls prescribed by the off-plan Sale or rent Committee, and the projects are distributed to 16 cities, where Riyadh received the largest share of the 11 projects are "Amar AlJawharuh" and "Riyadh Housing" and "Bwabt Al Sharq", In addition to the of "M'aaly Annan" project and "Rabia AlSharq" and "Mersiah" and "Diyar Saad" as well as the " Shams Al Diar" project, "Ashraq Living", "Zamil Residences" and "Qairan". The city of Dammam was ranked second with 7 projects: "Al Wijah", "Nasaj Town", "Jasmine Residency", "AlFaraidah","MD"," Waha AlDammam" and " Telalalghroob".

The project also includes the implementation of the "Telal Alkhamis" project and "Waha Alkhamis" project in Khamis Mushait city, "Deyaar" Rabigh project in Rabigh Town, and "Pearl of Diar" and "Rawasin" in the city of Yanbu and projects "Jewel Rusaifa" and "Retaj" in Mecca and two projects In Jizan, "King Abdullah Suburb" and "Al Safwa Garden".

The projects of  Jeddah city work commenced in the implementation of the"Aa'ly Jeddah" projects and "Telalghroob" in the neighborhood of Prince Fawaz and the project "Rabi Hijaz" and "Bawbt AlTahlia", and 3 projects in Medina, "Dorat AlMadinah" project,  "Bawabt Taibah" and "Jwar" project, And the projects of "Madint Alwurrod" and "AlFtah" in Ta'if and "Mnazal Qatif" projects and "Badrani" in the Al-Qatif governorates, and "Bassatin Tabuk" projects and "Durrat Tabuk" in  Tabuk city, and " Mukhatat Aljawhara " in Al-Hofuf, "AlBayraq" project  in Al Ahsa, "Adlalat Albaher" in Al-Khobar and "telalAbha" project.

The program ensures that the projects implemented are of high quality and suitable price ranging between 250  and 750 thousand riyals, with the integration of its infrastructure of water networks, electricity, telecommunications, lighting and pavements as well as sites dedicated to schools, mosques, parks, green areas and shopping centers, in addition to sites designated to the Governmental organizations to be integrated housing projects that provide their residents with all services they need.

 This year, the "Sakani" Program announced the names of 200,000 citizens who can benefit from the various options offered by the Sakani 2019 program, which offers ready-made housing units within the Ministry's projects and units under construction in partnership with real estate developers, free land and home finance (subsidized loans) to benefit from the purchasing market ready units, self-build of landowners, and Additional loan financing, with the aim of accelerating ownership and raising it to 70% by 2030 in line with the "Eskan" program objectives of "One of the Saudi Vision 2030 Programs", thus reducing the waiting lists and providing more housing opportunities more suited to different segments of society in all regions of the Kingdom.
