The "sakani" Program of the Ministry of Housing revealed that the total number of residential projects initiated in partnership with the real estate developers in the Eastern Region a total of 13 out of 18 projects providing more than 17,243 housing units. The program also announced two additional projects ready for purchase in partnership with developers.

The ministry clarified in a press statement today that these projects are distributed to a number of provinces in the Eastern region, and provide housing units with high specifications and various options of (apartments - townhouse - villas), with suitable prices ranging from SR 250 thousand to SR 750 thousand, to meet the demand for support as part of the Ministry's efforts to achieve the goals of the "Eskan" program one of the "Saudi Vision 2030" programs, in order to raise the homeownership to 60 per cent by 2020 and reach 70 per cent by 2030.

The Ministry pointed out that the building and construction works are currently underway in 13 residential projects, indicating that the implementation came after completing the booking procedures of these units, in accordance with the conditions and controls prescribed by the off-plan sales or rent committee, confirming their commitment to developers' time schedules and technical specifications for each project for full implementation in preparation for handing over to citizens.

Dammam city has the largest number of projects nearly to 10 projects. The "wahat AlDammam " project is one of the largest housing projects in Sharqia. It offers 2952 townhouses, starting from SR 539.5 thousand and SR 1798 per month. On an area of 643 thousand square meters, each area for a unit varied between 188-570 square meters.

The "telalalghroob" project is the second largest housing project in Dammam, providing about 1632 townhouses on a total area of 134,346 square meters, starting at SR 579,888 and a monthly premium starting from 1933 SR. The area of units also ranges from 187 to 661 square meters. On the project of "telalalghroob southern" project, which provides 1596 apartments on an area of 137,445 square meters, starting from SR274.7 thousand and a monthly installment starting from SR916, ranging between133-250 square meters.

The "Alfredah" project, which provides 1,224 units on a total area of 107.1 thousand square meters, is one of the options for those wishing to own apartments at prices starting from SR249 thousand, and a monthly premium not more than SR832, for spaces of 125-249 square meters.

The "MD" housing project in Dammam provides 728 Townhouse, covering a total area of 310,000 square meters, with an area ranging from 180 to 435 square meters per unit, with prices starting at SR 546,000 and monthly installments of SR 1821.

In Al Dammam, the "nasaj town" project is also underway, providing 674 villas and townhouses on a total area of over 191,000 square meters, with prices starting at SR 530.6 thousand per unit of  an area of 408 square meters and with monthly installments starting from SR 1769.

The"Alwajah" Dammam housing project offers a total of 574 residential units of villa type, with a total area of 185.7 thousand square meters, with prices ranging from SR 595,000 and monthly installment of SR 1985 per square meter for areas ranging from 250 -550 square meters per unit.

Among the projects of Dammam is "wahat Mada" project, which is located on a total area of about 21 thousand square meters, starting at SR308 thousand per unit, ranging from 130 to 172 square meters with a monthly fee of SR1027.

In addition to the "Jasmine Residence" project, which offers 103 apartments on a total area of 8.690 square meters at prices starting from SR314.5 thousand with a monthly fee of 1049 riyals for areas ranging from 170 to 226 square meters per unit, and "telal AlDammam" project which provides 50 apartments located on a total area of 9844 square meters, starting from SR739 thousand per unit with a monthly premium of SR2464 thousand for an area of 325 square meters.

As for the news, 3 projects have been anounced, the first is the "Sea View" project, which is consist of  860 villas located on a total area estimated at 358.6 thousand square meters on the Arabian Gulf coast, at an estimated cost of 621 thousand riyals and a monthly premium of 2070 riyals, The project, which is located between 211 and 792 square meters. Among the projects offered by "sakani" program within its various options in Al Khobar, is the "Shorouk Al Majeed" project to provide 188 apartments on an area ranging between 168-194 square meters per unit with value starting from 462 thousand riyals and a monthly installment  of SR1540, in addition to the prefabricated apartments  "Shabili" project, which provides 43 apartments with prices starting from SR460 thousand and a premium of  SR1534, on an area ranging from 147-314 square meters of the unit.

On the other hand, Qatif Governorate has lunched two projects: "Al-Qatif Housing" Project, which provides 942 units of Townhouse type on a total area of 221.383 square meters, starting from SR 536.7 thousand in installments starting from SR 1789 for areas ranging from 180 - 392 square meters, as well as the project "Qatif Al-Badrani", which is located on an area of 58 thousand square meters, provides 196 units of apartments type, at prices reached 410.753 riyals, and monthly installments of 1369 riyals for areas of about 213 square meters.

In the AlAhsa governorate a number of projects are available, the largest of which is the "Deyaar Al Ahsa" project, which provides 2945 housing units of the Villa and Town House type, in the first phase, which is on a total area of more than 640 thousand square meters, and prices starting from 495 thousand riyals, while the second phase includes about 1435 villas with a total area of 750 thousand square meters, with prices starting from 495 thousand riyals and a monthly premium of 1650 riyals.

The "Biraq AL Mubarraz villas" are located on an area of 87.6 thousand square meters. It offers 192 villa units at prices ranging from 699 thousand riyals with a monthly installment starting from SR2330 to SR250 square meters.

The "Al Jawhara residential" project in AlHofuf consists of apartments and residential villas on a total area estimated at 625 thousand square meters to provide more than 2132 housing units, including 900 villas with areas ranging from 245-473 square meters per unit with a value starting from 666 thousand riyals, and a monthly premium starting from 2220 riyals, in addition to 1232 apartments with an area of 200 square meters starting from 449 thousand riyals and a monthly premium of 1479 riyals.

The total which has been allocated to the Eastern province since the launch of the "sakani" program in 2017, was 72,923 residential and financing option, including 22,951 home finance  (subsidized loan), and 10.535 free residential land, and 4297 ready units, and 35,140 housing units under construction, within Water, electricity, telecommunications, internal road networks, lighting, afforestation, drainage, etc, with sites designated to various service facilities, as well as green area, parks, schools , mosques, commercial and recreational facilities.
