"Sakani": 12 housing projects started construction of which commenced in Makkah which provides more than 52 thousand housing units.
 
The "sakani" Program of the Ministry of Housing revealed the number of residential projects in the Makkah region, which amounted to about 12 projects with a total area of 11,608,164 m 2, providing 52,611 housing units, indicating that 10 of these projects have commenced building and construction with high quality and specifications, including two ready-made housing in Rabigh governorate.

The ministry clarified in a press statement on Monday that these projects are distributed in a number of cities and governorates of the region and supervised by the private sector, represented by the qualified real estate developers, to provide housing units with high specifications and various options between (townhouses - villas) Ranging between SR250 to SR750 thousand, to meet the demand for housing subsidy in the framework of the Ministry's efforts to achieve the goals of the "sakani" program (one of the programs to achieve the Saudi  vision 2030) to raise the percentage of homeownership to 60% by 2020 and reach out 70% by 2030.

The construction and building works are currently underway in 10 housing projects, indicating that the implementation came after completing the booking procedures of these units, in accordance with the conditions and regulations prescribed by the off-plan sales or rent  committee, stressing the need for developers to adhere to the time plans and technical specifications specified for each project to complete Implementation to the fullest in preparation for delivery to citizens.

The "Rawabi Al Hijaz" project, located northeast of Jeddah, is one of the largest residential projects in the region, providing 21,302 apartments on a total area of 1,413,690 m2 at a price starting from SR477,900 and monthly installments of SR1513. », Located in the Prince Fawaz neighborhood south of Jeddah as one of the largest residential projects in the region, providing 9868 apartments, on a total area of 880,884 m 2, and the price starts from SR243,111 and monthly installments of SR810.

The «Ruba Jeddah» housing project consist of 1375 apartments on an area of 95,553 square meters, south of the Prince Fawaz Jeddah neighborhood and near Makkah Al-Mukarramah Highway, within the Ministry's projects in cooperation with the private sector, with various areas between 126-143 square meters per unit, starting from SR294 Thousand and a monthly premium of SR918.

The construction of the "telalalghroob" project has begun, it's also located in the Prince Fawaz neighborhood south of Jeddah and includes about 6512 apartments with prices starts start from SR262 thousand with a monthly installment of SR875, and with areas ranging between 125 to 250 square meters, "Abraj AlTahlia" project is strategically located at the intersection of Tahlia Rd. with Al Haramain Rd. It covers over a total area of 122,000 square meters. It includes 1912 apartments, currently under construction, with prices starting from SR403 thousand in monthly installments of SR1344. The area of the units is ranging between 135-196 square meters.

The "jawhart Alrasifah" project is one of the projects launched by the Ministry in cooperation with the private sector. It provides 1035 apartments on an area of 87,662 square meters. The project is currently under construction and is available for booking at prices ranging from SR335 thousand and on an area of 215 square meters, the project is located in the Rusayfah neighborhood of the Holy Capital. It is easily accessible from several main roads: The Third Ring Road, the Fourth Ring Road, and the "Ritaj Makkah" Project, which includes 4,540 units (villas to apartments). The villa price starts at SR 792,000, And a monthly premium of 2642 riyals, while the apartments price starts at 450 thousand riyals, and a monthly installment SAR 1506.

The "Madinat alwurrod" project of in Ta'if city is one of the Ministry of  Housing projects which announced the availability of booking and inspection recently, that includes 4775 residential villas, is implemented by the Ministry in partnership with the private sector, and the total area of the project is about 6.3 million square meters, the price of villa is start from 499 thousand riyals with a monthly premium of 1665 riyals. Ta'if includes another project named "Al Fath", it provides 488 units ranging from villas and apartments. The villa starts at 788 thousand riyals with a monthly premium of SR 2627, and a monthly premium of 1206 riyals.

In addition, the "dyar Rabigh" project offers a total of 350 housing units between Townhouse and Villas, located on over 260,707 square meters in a distinctive location north of Rabigh city. The villa price starts at SR590 thousand with a monthly rent of SR196 riyals. The project is located on a total area of 150,000 square meters, with 175 apartments, starting at SR 464 thousand in monthly installments starting from 1548 riyals, While the «Alshrooq 2» project, on a total area of 150 thousand square meters, are fairly spread over by 279 apartments, with price starting at SR458 thousand and monthly installments of SR1530.

 

The Ministry of Housing has confirmed its commitment to deliver these projects on time and with high quality and specifications. The projects available to the beneficiaries of the "sakani" program are a modern model for housing complexes with integrated services and public utilities. Large areas of these projects are designated to green spaces and parks, Including all commercial services and public amenities, in addition to dedicate sites for government entities, and is characterized by the integration of infrastructure of water, electricity networks, telecommunications and drainage system, to provide the population all the services they need, stressing the continuity at pumping more housing options in for the beneficiaries by offering suitable residential units to meet their wishes and aspirations.
