"Sakani": 15 housing projects in Riyadh are currently being implemented to accommodate the wishes of beneficiaries.
The number of residential projects announced by the "sakani" Program of the Ministry of Housing in Riyadh solely has reached 15 projects, providing 26,301 housing units, while the "sakani" program revealed that 12 of these projects started building and construction works, in addition to three other projects ready for purchase.
These projects are distributed to a number of Riyadh city districts, supervised by the Ministry of Housing in partnership with the private sector represented by qualified real estate developers, to provide housing units with high specifications and various options between (apartments - townhouse - villas), suitable prices ranging from SR250 to 750,000 to meet the demand for housing subsidy as part of the Ministry's efforts to achieve the goals of the "Saudi Vision 2030" housing program to raise the homeownership to 60% by 2020 and reach 70% by 2030.
The ministry clarified in a press statement today that the building and construction works is currently underway in 12 residential projects, indicating that the implementation came after the completion of the booking procedures for these units, in accordance with the rules and controls prescribed by the off-plan sales and rent committee, stressing the need for developers to abide by time plans and technical specifications specified for each project to complete the implementation to the fullest in preparation for the delivery to citizens.
The residential villa project at "Bawabat Al Sharq", one of the largest residential projects in Riyadh, offers 5,968 villas and is located east of Riyadh on a total area of 6,544,310 square meters, with price starting at SR 645,750 and monthly installments of SR 2,152.
The important projects being built by the Ministry is the "Mersaih project" located north of Riyadh, covering a total area of more than 2.7 million square meters, to provide 5,590 housing units, vary between apartments to townhouses. Implementation is under way, with different modern models to suit the different desires of the beneficiaries. The units come at competitive prices starting from SR299,250 and a monthly premium starting from SR899. Among the projects announced by the ministry, the Suhail Riyadh project includes 4376 housing units, which the Ministry is implementing in partnership with the private sector. The total area of the project is more than 1.7 million square meters, (apartments, villas and townhouses), meet all needs and include all the services that addressing the citizen's needs; the price of the villa starting from SR601 thousand, with installment of SR2004, and the townhouse starts from SR512 thousand and a monthly premium of SR1706, Starting from SR368 thousand, and a monthly premium of SR1227.
The "Nabd Qirwan" project, one of "sakani" program projects is located in a strategic and vital location north of Riyadh, between the Olaya streets and King Abdulaziz Road, and includes 4358 units under construction, with modern designs varied between apartments and Town House with price starting from SR276 thousand, A total area of more than 1.3 million square meters, with a modern architectural style.
"Ashraq Living" project which offers 2229 residential units varied between Townhouse and Villas, and located along 554,000 square meters, in a unique location north of Riyadh, west of King Khalid International Airport, at prices starting at SR618.5 thousand. With installation starting of SR2062. The project includes residential units exceeding 300 square meters.
The construction of the "Rabia Al Sharq" project has started, it's one of the Ministry's projects in cooperation with the private sector, includes about 960 housing units, 576 apartments and 384 villas. With prices start from SR410,000 with a monthly installment of SR1367. With spaces of 171-218 square meters, while the prices of villas start from SR750 thousand monthly premium SR2500, and varied areas of 230-280 square meters.
The "Diyar Saad" project is located on a total area of 133,098 square meters, with 577 housing units of the type of townhouse currently under construction at prices starting from SR587,898 thousand in monthly installments starting from 1953 riyals. The spaces of units ranging between 452-200 square meters.
The "shams aldayer" project, which is located north of Riyadh, west of King Khalid International Airport, covers an area of 343,478 m 2 and includes 503 housing units, 40 villas and 463 townhouses, with four different types of models differ in spaces and prices. Prices starting at SR 498,000 with a monthly installment of SR1660 ,an area of 333-383 square meters for the townhouse, and villas for SR844.577 with monthly installment of SR2815 of an area of 308-479 square meters.
The" Mallay Anan"housing project, offers 440 townhouses on an area of 105,831 square meters, near the Dammam and Khurais roads, within the Ministry's projects in cooperation with the private sector, with areas ranging between 220-400 square meters per unit, with prices starting at SR680,000 and 2636 riyals installment per month, the "Riyadh housing 1" is one of the Ministry's projects in cooperation with the private sector. It includes 168 units for those who want to live in apartments. With prices start from SR410,753. The project consists of 6 buildings, each with 7 floors.
The "Zamil House" project is one of the projects launched by the Ministry in cooperation with the private sector. It offers 155 villas built on an area of 41,776 square meters. The project is currently available for booking at prices ranging from 635 thousand riyals with spaces of 320 square meters. "Zamil houses" in Al-Ma'ali scheme in Al-Janadriyah district, accessible from several main roads: Dammam Road, Khurais Road, Sheikh Jaber Road and Janadriya Road.
The "Jwaharah building" project is located in the north of Riyadh and includes 112 apartments within the Ministry's completed projects with integrated specifications and designs to suit the need of the beneficiaries of limited space. The unit consists of 3 bedrooms, with a space of 192 m2 each with designs that guarantee comfort and privacy of the residences.
The "dwawin aljazirah" project is one of the residential projects in the south of Riyadh. It provides 4,400 villas with an area of 1.26 million square meters. The project is located on Imam Muslim Street and Imam Malik Street. The unit price starts from 499 thousand riyals with a monthly premium of 1664 riyals.
Within the framework of the "sakani" program, the Ministry has allocated ready-made housing units in cooperation with the private sector, within two sites are available for purchase, including the "Parisiana" Project, which provides 686 apartments with an area of 133-179 square meters on a total area of 813,642 square meters. Located near to the Al-Suwaidi Street, with a monthly premium of SR 1280, and a total value of 384 thousand riyals.In addition to the Sultan project, which provides about 77 apartments with spaces ranging from 124-280 square meters, starting at 300 thousand and a monthly premium of SR1,000, on a total area of 17.553 square meters.
The Ministry of Housing stressed that these projects available to the beneficiaries of the "sakani" program is a modern model of integrated housing complexes services and public utilities, where allocated large areas of these projects for green spaces and parks, and contains all commercial services and public facilities, underlining the continuity of the program in pumping more housing options for beneficiaries by providing suitable housing units for them and meet their wishes and aspirations.
