"Sakani" offers e-payment option for 12 new land plots.
The "sakani" program portal of the Ministry of Housing has added a number of new schemes within the residential plans that were recently launched to allow beneficiary to choose the appropriate residential plan for those wishing to obtain the free land without the need to visit the branches. In the constant quest to develop E-solutions to facilitate and provide more e-services for eligible citizens. The portal has so far provided 39 plans and more will follow in the coming period.
The ministry clarified in a press statement today that the electronic selection of 12 new plans has been activated, infrastructure works that under development and including public service facilities. The new plans included the Darab Tibah route, located in the Aziziyah district of Madinah at the intersection of Imam Muslim with Imam Al-Nasai, (The land of transmission) in the Riyadh city, and Azahar Al-Taif adjacent to the University of Ta'if in Bahwiya north of the Al-Ta'if city.
The ministry added nine schemes in a number of cities and governorates in the eastern region, including Al-waha village plan in the Al-Olaya village and the Azahar Al Hafr scheme in Hafr Al-Batin and Al-Shorouk Oasis plan in Al-Nayriyah and the plan of the Al bqaiq spring and the Al-Dghaimia plan in Abqaiq governorate and the plans of Al-Wasea suburb and Durrat Al Dahia and Bustan Al-Khafji in Al-Khafji governorate.
The Ministry of Housing indicated that the registered beneficiary of the Ministry of Housing is able to visit the "sakani" program portal and then choose "residential solutions" after that click on the free residential land option or direct access at https://sakani.housing.sa/plans- map and choose the appropriate plan and then complete the registration form before visiting the branch to finalize the final procedures for obtaining the land after the issuance of approvals, noting that it will continue to provide full facilities to the beneficiaries of the citizens to make their aspirations a reality.
The ministry stated that these steps are part of providing more options for citizens to obtain adequate housing that meets their needs, increasing the percentage of homeownership to 60% by 2020 and reaching 70% by 2030 according to the "eskan" program targets one of the Saudi vision programs.The "sakani" program of the Ministry of Housing has allocated about 783 thousand residential and financial options since its launch early in 2017, the share of free land 207,296 plots of land in various regions of the Kingdom, including 50 thousand free plots were allocated this year, where the delivery of free land in different Areas are ongoing.
The program also provides many housing options and financing solutions for beneficiaries in addition to free land, prefabricated units within the Ministry's projects and units under construction in partnership with real estate developers and home finance (subsidized loans) to benefit from the purchase ready units from the market, self-construction of land owners, transformation of additional loan to subsidizes loan.
